My study focuses on the transovarial transmission of begomoviruses in whiteflies of the Bemisia tabaci species complex. In addition, I am interested in how begomoviruses enter the primary salivary gland and the ovary of the whitefly vectors.

I obtained my BSc degree in Plant Protection from Zhejiang University in 2014. During my BSc research, I participated in the study on the acquisition, retention and transmission of Papaya leaf curl China virus by two invasive whiteflies in China.
