My research is to explore the mechanisms of competitive interactions between two parasitoids Encarsia formosa and Eretmocerus hayati of the whiteflies in the Bemisia tabaci species complex. These parasitoids may play an important role in whitefly biological control. And my interest is to promote the utilization of parasitoids in the management of whitefly pests.

I obtained my BSc degree in Plant Protection from Fujian Agricultural and Forestry University in 2016. During my BSc study, I went to United States for study for six months via a student exchange program. This experience is valuable to my further study, especially in helping me to improve my reading proficiency of the English literature.
