I am interested in the molecular mechanisms of whitefly Bemisia tabaci interactions with begomoviruses and plants. I have participated in the research of our lab that  reveals the functions of jasmonic acid pathway and terpenoids in the interactions between whiteflies, geminiviruses and tobacco plants. Currently, I am attempting to find more plant genes that participate in the tripartite interactions by using virus induced gene silencing in the plants.

I obtained my BSc degree in Applied Bioscience from Zhejiang University in 2011.
